Welcoming in the season of Bunuru

We are half-way though our term now and also welcoming in the season of Bunuru. The Noongar season Bunuru is represented by the colour orange and is the hottest time of the year. There are long days and short nights.

Traditionally this was, and still is, a great time for living and fishing by the coast, rivers and estuaries.

Inaugural Staff V Students Game

This week saw the first lunch time game of staff versus students. The chosen sport was Dodgeball. It was a tightly contested competition, with the staff and students giving it their all. However, the Year 6 team, who were called “The Dodgies”, showed great spirit and determination and were declared the winners! Thanks go to Mr Carron for organising this event and to everyone who participated!
