We are half-way though our term now and also welcoming in the season of Bunuru. The Noongar season Bunuru is represented by the colour orange and is the hottest time of the year. There are long days and short nights.
Traditionally this was, and still is, a great time for living and fishing by the coast, rivers and estuaries.
Parent Teacher Interviews
Monday 22 March is an early close for all students at 11:30am, as we are offering parent teacher interviews.
On Connect today, and sent home in hard copy, is information about how you can go about booking your interviews via a new program called SOBS – School Online Booking System.
I encourage everyone to read this important information, and please let us know if you require any assistance.
By now you should have received your envelope for ordering school photos, which will occur during the week of 15-18 March. Please check your child’s bag if you have not received the envelope.
Our P&C is working to provide a great fundraising event with our Lapathon.
Please ensure you read all of the information sent home last week and help out our P&C by signing up lots of sponsors!
Inaugural Staff V Students Game
This week saw the first lunch time game of staff versus students. The chosen sport was Dodgeball. It was a tightly contested competition, with the staff and students giving it their all. However, the Year 6 team, who were called “The Dodgies”, showed great spirit and determination and were declared the winners! Thanks go to Mr Carron for organising this event and to everyone who participated!
Have a super couple of weeks!
