Welcome to Albany Primary School, proudly an Independent Public School.
Nestled between the CBD and Middleton Beach, the current location is the third site for our remarkable school. Albany Primary School has a rich history, being the first primary school in Albany, established in 1896.
It is a privilege to be the Principal of Albany Primary School and I welcome your child and family into our school community.
Our school is committed to providing an engaging learning environment where students are challenged and motivated through a variety of experiences across all aspects of school life.
As educators, we aspire for our students to be physically and mentally healthy, academically proficient, reflective learners, artistically creative, musically adept, tech savvy and environmentally aware. Ultimately we strive to develop our students to be active and respectful citizens of our community now, and into the future.
By embedding evidence based strategies as a whole school approach we are maximising the effect on student outcomes. Our committed and dynamic staff deliver the highest standards of education by consistently reflecting upon their practises, enabling students to discover and grow to their full potential.
We aim to build respectful partnerships between staff, student and families, as well as with other schools, local business and support agencies, to benefit our whole school community.
My wish is that your child achieves their personal excellence by being immersed in an enjoyable and stimulating learning journey, which is safe and supportive.
Thank you for taking the time to browse our website and I trust that you will embrace the positive culture that Albany Primary School has to offer.
