Principal's Message

For those of you who are unaware, Albany Primary is located in Albany, an important regional centre on the southern shores of Western Australia. We are some 400 km south of Perth, the Western Australian capital. Albany has a rich history being the first European settlement in Western Australia. The school has 500 students enrolled ranging from kindergarten to year 6.

We’re sure that through our website you will see that we are a vibrant primary school where learning is valued and the students have a variety of opportunity to follow their interests. Our school is known for its quality learning outcomes and its capacity to provide students with a range of opportunities in many sports, the Performing Arts and Science.

At the heart of our school ethos is a desire on everyone’s behalf to work together as a team. There are strong relationships between staff and students and staff and parents. Parent support for the school is second to none and is something that our staff and students really appreciate. Our “community feel” makes our school strong and effective.
